Dan maar onzichtbaar? (Would you rather be invisible?)

This was my graduation project for "Design for Virtual Theatre and Games" at the Utrecht school of the Arts.

The goal was to experiment with gameplay to create a very specific experience. I tried to experiment with pace, level structure, difficulty and reward to make the player experience a fear of taking risks and to make the player react and reflect on those fears.

The result was a game that did provide the intended experience but lacked the proper context to make the player reflect on that experience. The project was a great way for me to find out the limitations, but also the power of gameplay in interactive narratives.
